WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, August 29, 2017:
- Police located a license plate on Church Street and left a message for the owner, who retrieved it at the station. (7:39am)
- Police issued 8 parking citations in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. (12:17pm)
- A pink backpack was reported stolen, taken sometime on Saturday from baby beach at Town Beach. (1:43pm)
- Police issued a criminal application citation to a driver for negligent operation and child seatbelt violation. Operator was driving on Main Street with his 3-year-old child in his lap. (3:38pm)
- Police noticed a large hole developed next to a storm drain on Lowell Street. Police notified Mass Highway, who responded it was the town’s responsibility. Police then notified DPW. (3:41pm)
- A Narcan training was held at the public safety building. (5:36pm)
