WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington 19-year-old Jillian Little suffered a massive stroke earlier this month. She is currently partially paralyzed and unable to speak.
Jillian’s family is optimistic for a full recovery. She is currently receiving world class care from Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Jillian’s sister has created a GoFundMe page with the goal of raising $40,000 to help cover months of rehabilitation, medical equipment, and personal care.
“Jill’s rehabilitation will support our ultimate goal of giving back her independence. Few things light up a room like Jill’s smile, and our family awaits the moment when she returns home,” reads the fundraising page. “Recognizing that we can do so much more together than we could ever accomplish alone, we are turning to friends and family to help us shoulder the financial burden. Any donation would be appreciated more than you could ever know.”
