WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, August 13, 2017:
- Jean Michaud (34, Lynn) was arrested for OUI Liquor, Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle, and Failure To Wear Seat Belt. Michaud was found asleep at the wheel at Federal Street and Middlesex Avenue. (2:17am)
- A caller reported that he was walking on Federal Street and a black dog with a red collar chased him down the roadway. (10:36am)
- Police stopped party on a scooter on Concord Street. Scooter does not have proper decal. Operator was advised and will take care of the issue. (11:30am)
- A caller reported a dog jumped out of vehicle in front of him on Main Street, near the Dog Park. Dog is now injured and female owner is too shaken up to move her vehicle out of oncoming traffic. A vet stopped and assisted family with care and transport. (2:44pm)
- A minor 2-vehicle crash occurred at Main Street and Richmond Street. Vehicles pulled into Cumberland Farms. (3:53pm)
- Police issued a verbal warning for operating to create harsh unnecessary noise and illegal use of horn. (6:11pm)
- A caller reported 5-6 teens in a black pick-up truck by the Shawsheen School playground were smoking a Class D drug. Police were unable to locate. (7:09pm)
- Police checked on a vehicle in the Planet Fitness parking lot occupied by three males. They were attempting to see how much smoke they could fill the vehicle with by vaping. (11:53pm)
