POLICE LOG for August 12: Washer & Dishwasher Dumped In Street; Scratch Ticket Search

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, August 12, 2017:

  • Police came across an individual going through the trash for scratch tickets at an unspecified Main Street location.  Individual was sent on his way. (2:38am)
  • Police contacted MBTA that a commuter rail trail was blocking Middlesex Avenue at the North Wilmington station. (12:05pm)
  • A washer and dishwasher were left in the roadway at Earles Row. Police pushed items off of roadway and contacted DPW for pickup. (2:43pm)
  • A parent reported her child left diabetes supplies inside the Academy of Traditional Karate, which is now closed. Police were able to reach the owners, who contacted the parent. (4:30pm)
  • A brown 2004 Pontiac Vibe crashed into some rocks on Main Street. Driver refused medical transport. Vehicle was towed. (9:03pm)
  • A passerby reported an operator was asleep at the wheel at Main Street and Richmond Street. Police were unable to locate. (11:22pm)
