10 Things You Need To Know In Wilmington Today (August 13, 2017)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things you need to know in Wilmington for Sunday, August 13, 2017.

#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be mostly sunny in Wilmington, with a high near 84. West wind 6 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

#2) The Wilmington Farmers Market is open from 10am to 1pm on the Swain Green, across from the Town Common.  The lineup can be found HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Touchdown Club is holding a Car Wash Fundraiser from 9am to noon in the Wilmington Fourth of July Building’s parking lot (142 Middlesex Avenue). Wilmington High School football players will be washing the vehicles.  All donations will benefit the WHS football program.

#4) The Wilmington Town Museum is holding its Monthly Open House from 2pm to 4pm. Come explore the town’s rich history. Learn more HERE.

#5) The Hot Tub and Swim Spa Blowout Expo takes place from 10am to 5pm at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road). Major brands will be on sale, up to 50% off.  $500 and $1,000 coupons can be found HERE.  Admission and parking is free. Learn more about the Expo HERE.

#6) There is a yard sale from 8am to 1pm on Harvard Avenue. Learn more HERE.

#7) The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
