5 Things You Need To Know In Wilmington Today (August 7, 2017)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things you need to know in Wilmington for Monday, August 7, 2017.

#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington will likely see showers, mainly after 5pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

#2) The Wilmington Housing Authority meets at 5pm at Deming Way’s Community Hall. Read the agenda HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting FOUR programs today:

  • Little Movers (10am-11am)
  • Stamps of New England (2:30pm-4pm)
  • PJ Storytime (6:30pm-7:15pm)
  • Writing Group (7pm-8:30pm)

#4) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its usual Monday activities:

  • Blood Pressure (9:30am)
  • SBF Exercise (9:45am)
  • Special Exercise (11am)

#5) The Town Beach is open today.  Lifeguards are on duty from 10am to 8pm. Admission is FREE for residents. Proof of residency is required. Learn more HERE.
