5 Things You Need To Know In Wilmington Today (August 4, 2017)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things you need to know in Wilmington for Friday, August 4, 2017.

#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington will see patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 84. Light south wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

#2) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding THREE programs today:

  • Build A Better Town (10am-noon)
  • Read To Zoey The Listening Labrador (2pm-3pm)
  • Super Smash Bros. Tournament [Grades 1-3] (3pm-3:45pm)
  • Super Smash Bros. Tournament [Grades 4-8] (4pm-4:45pm)

#3) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its regular Friday activities:

  • Video Exercise (10:00am)
  • Special Exercise (11:00am)
  • Bingo (1:00pm)
  • Cards (1:00pm)

#4) The Town Beach is open today.  Lifeguards are on duty from 10am to 8pm. Admission is FREE for residents. Proof of residency is required. Learn more HERE.

#5) Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) is hosting Karaoke with Winnell Entertainment
at 8pm.
