WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Memorial Library, in collaboration with multiple community partners, is pleased to host the Mass Memories Road Show on Saturday, September 30, from 10am to 3pm, in the Wilmington High School Cafeteria.
This special event celebrates each person’s history and contribution to Wilmington by digitizing family photos and stories.
Who is invited? Anyone who has lived, worked or attended school in Wilmington. It does not matter if you have lived here for generations or moved in last year, all are welcome. All ages may participate; children under 18 must have parental permission.
What should you bring? You may bring 1-3 photos (print or digital) that best tell your Wilmington story. Photos may be current or historic and may include special family occasions such as weddings, birthdays, first day of school etc. They can also include sporting and community events as well as social gatherings.
What will happen to the photos? Your photos will be scanned and archived for future generations; participants may also record the story behind the photos.
Why should you participate? Together we will create an online snapshot of our community that will be available to future generations.
