5 Things You Need To Know In Wilmington Today (July 17, 2017)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things you need to know in Wilmington for Monday, July 17, 2017.

#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be mostly sunny in Wilmington, with a high near 85. Light south wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

#2a) The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets at 7pm at Wilmington Town Hall (Room 9). (Executive Session from 6:15pm to 7pm.) Read the agenda HERE.

#2b) The Wilmington Housing Authority meets at 5pm in the Deming Way Community Hall. Read the agenda HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting THREE programs today:

  • Little Movers (10am-11am)
  • College Essay Bootcamp (Part 1 Makeup Session) (3pm-4pm)
  • PJ Storytime (6:30pm-7:15pm)

#4) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its usual Monday activities:

  • Blood Pressure (9:30am)
  • SBF Exercise (9:45am)
  • Special Exercise (11am)

#5) The Town Beach is open today.  Lifeguards are on duty from 10am to 8pm. Admission is FREE for residents. Proof of residency is required. Learn more HERE.
