WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Department of Public Works will be installing drainage improvements in Woburn Street, in the area of 236 and 194 Woburn Street, potentially beginning Monday July 17, 2017.
This work will include a new catch basin and roadway trenching for a new drain line along the shoulder of Woburn Street. All work is proposed in the public Right of Way of Woburn Street, with minor grading activity on the Woburn Street school property. The proposed project will provide a significant benefit to area residents by alleviating some of the ponding that currently occurs on the roadway in front of 236 Woburn Street.
Copies of the construction plan are available in the Wilmington DPW Engineering Division Office located at 121 Glen Road, Room 7 (Wilmington Town Hall).
Please obey the directives of police details and warning signage during this operation. Area residents will have access to and from their properties at all times, although there may be short delays to accommodate worker safety.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact the Wilmington Engineering Division via email at engineering@wilmingtonma.gov or by phone at 978-658-4499.
