LOWELL, MA — William F. Fortin, “Bill”, age 58, of Lowell, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at the Lowell General Hospital.
William was the beloved son of the late Richard and Lorraine (Martin) Fortin, brother to the late Raymond Fortin. He is survived by his lovingly adored daughter Krystal Fortin & his former wife and dear friend, Jennifer Legere both of Wilmington, his sister Joanne Benoit & her husband Deryl of Chelmsford, his brother Norman Fortin & his wife Vicki of Reading, and his nephew Deryl Benoit, San Diego, CA.
Bill was a very loving and devoted father. He enjoyed photography, playing his guitars and most of all, spending time with his daughter Krystal. Bill will be deeply missed by his loved ones, friends and co-workers.
William proudly served in the U. S. Army.
Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Thursday, July 20th for Visitation from 6:00-7:30 p.m. immediately followed by a Service at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations in William’s memory may be made to his daughter’s day habilitation program, EMARC, 2 Ray Ave., Burlington, MA 01803.
