WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things you need to know in Wilmington for Monday, June 26, 2017.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington will see increasing clouds, with a high near 81. West wind 7 to 9 mph.
#2) The Wilmington Community Development Technical Review Team meets at 9:30am at the Wilmington Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.
#3) The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets at 7pm at the Wilmington Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.
#4) Reading Cooperative Bank is holding a free fire safety training course, run by the Red Cross, at 5:30pm at its Reading headquarters (55 Walkers Brook Drive). Customers are welcome. RSVP required. Learn more HERE.
#5) In case you have a spare two hours, watch last week’s Facilities Master Plan Committee Meeting, with the Board of Selectmen, School Committee, and Finance Committee, via WCTV’s on-demand video player HERE. Wilmington Apple will have a recap of the meeting in the coming days.
#6) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding FIVE programs:
- Collaborative Mural Art Project: Ages 18 months-2 years (9:30am-10:15am)
- Collaborative Mural Art Project: Ages 3-6 (10:30am-11:15am)
- Collaborative Mural Art Project: Grades 1-5 (3pm-4pm)
- Networkers: Opportunities at Middlesex Community College (9:30am-noon)
- Building: Tall Ships & Pirate Tales (6:30pm-7:30pm)

#7) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its usual Monday activities:
- Blood Pressure (9:30am)
- SBF Exercise (9:45am)
- Special Exercise (11am)

#8) The Town Beach is open today. Lifeguards are on duty from 10am to 8pm. Admission is FREE for residents. Proof of residency is required. Learn more HERE.
#9) The Fourth of July Committee Building (142 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 2pm. Fun on the Fourth merchandise and meal tickets are on sale. Registration for some of the celebration’s free events is available.
