WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIFTEEN things you need to know in Wilmington for Tuesday, June 20, 2017.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms in Wilmington before 9am, then a slight chance of showers between 9am and 10am. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Southwest wind 6 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
#2) The Wilmington Facility Master Plan Committee meets at 6pm at Wilmington Town Hall (Auditorium). The Board of Selectmen, School Committee, and Finance Committee will be holding a joint meeting. Read the agenda HERE.
#3) The Wilmington Board of Library Trustees meets at 7pm at the Wilmington Memorial Library (Banda Room). Read the agenda HERE.
#4) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding THREE programs today:
- Preschool Storytime (10am-11am)
- 3D Modeling for Grades 4-8 (10am-noon)
- Family Movie — Beauty and the Beast (6:30pm-8:30pm)

#5) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) will be holding its usual Tuesday programs:
- 9:00am — Walking Group
- 10:30am — Aerobics
- 12:30pm — Wii Bowling

#7) The Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks (777 South Street, Tewksbury) holds bingo — open to the public — every Tuesday at 6:45pm. Doors open at 5pm. Pizza, hot dog and pastries are sold. Free coffee.
#8) Angels In Motion meets every Tuesday, from 9:30am to 2:30pm, at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue). The club provides a great opportunity for seniors to meet new friends or reacquaint with old ones. Spend the day playing cards, board games, or just chatting with folks! A luncheon is served as noon. There are NO fees. The KofC Hall is handicap accessible.

#11) The Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce is holding a Meet & Greet Mixer from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Oakdale Liquors (1900 Main Street) in Tewksbury.
#12) The Shawsheen Tech’s Alumni Association is holding a meeting at 6pm in the School Committee’s Boardroom at the Tech.
#13) The Wilmington Youth Lacrosse Association is holding its Annual Meeting at 7pm in the back room at Wilmington’s Panera Bread.
#14) The Fourth of July Committee Building (142 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 2pm. Fun on the Fourth merchandise and meal tickets are on sale. Registration for some of the celebration’s free events is available.
