WILMINGTON, MA — Judith H. Marsolini (Burr), age 77, of Bluffton, SC, formerly a long time resident of Wilmington, died peacefully on May 16, 2017 at Hilton Head Hospital in South Carolina.
Judy was born in Medford, MA on April 15, 1940 to Marion F. Davis and Frederick N. Burr.
Judy enjoyed sewing, knitting and quilting. She also enjoyed playing poker, mah Jong and canasta as well. Judy loved to travel and especially going to Aruba over the last 24 years with great friends. She was very involved with making baby quilts and blankets for Julie’s Mission, who gives comfort to families of critically ill newborns thru Grace Coastal Church.
Before retiring Judy worked at Dr. Kellerman’s Office, Reading, Ma. Prior to that she was a long time sales person for Dutchmaid and Queensway.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Louis Marsolini, daughter and son-in-law Linda and Jack Kennedy, of Pepperell, MA , son and daughter-in-law Bob and Christine Marsolini of San Diego, CA and daughter and son-in-law Debra and Paul Burke, of Palm Coast, FL. Grandmother to Meghan and Lauren Kennedy; Michael Christensen, Kayleigh, Evan, Trevor, Nicole and Chloe Marsolini. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Judy’s name to Julie’s Mission, at Grace Coastal Church, 15 Williams Dr., Okatie, SC 29909.
Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Saturday, June 3rd for Visitation from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
