10 Things You Need To Know In Wilmington Today (May 22, 2017)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things you need to know in Wilmington for Monday, May 22, 2017.

#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington will see showers, mainly after 3pm. High near 58. South wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

#2) Wilmington-Billerica’s Relay For Life is sponsoring a free dinner social event for cancer survivors and caregivers from 6pm to 8pm at Villanova Hall (125 Middlesex Avenue). Food will be provided by Lowell General. #3) The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets at 7pm at Wilmington Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.

#4) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding THREE programs:

  • Networkers: Headshots with Bruce Hilliard (FULL)
  • Minecraft Fun (WAITING LIST)
  • PJ Storytime (6:30pm-7:15pm)

#5) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its usual Monday activities:

  • Blood Pressure (9:30am)
  • SBF Exercise (9:45am)
  • Special Exercise (11am)
  • Knitting/Crocheting (11am)
  • Quilting (1pm)
