WHS GIRLS TENNIS: Wildcats Fall To Burlington, Fall To 9-6

WILMINGTON, MA —The WHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team lost to Burlington, 4-1, at Wilmington High on Wednesday, May 17:

• Wilmington sophomore Emily Hill fell to Maddy Metzdorf, 6-1, 6-1.
• Wilmington senior Sam Maragioglio fell to Megan Doherty, 6-1, 3-0 (injury default).
• Wilmington sophomore Lia Kourkoutas defeated Arya Bhat, 3-6, 7-5, 7-3.
• Wilmington senior Christina Woods and freshman Carolyn Roney fell to Lauren Carlson & Erica Von Sty, 6-1, 6-3.
• Wilmington juniors Lauren Field and Christina Wright fell to Ginger Buodokia Floyd, 4-6, 6-1, 6-3.
