WHS GIRLS TENNIS: Wildcats Win Third In A Row, Improve To 8-5

WILMINGTON, MA —The WHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team defeated Watertown High, 3-2, at Wilmington High on Friday, May 12:

• Wilmington sophomore Emily Hill fell to Lilian Marr, 6-2, 6-0.
• Wilmington senior Sam Maragioglio defeated Michelle Aftandilian, 6-2, 6-4.
• Wilmington sophomore Lia Kourkoutas fell to Rachel Aftandilian, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
• Wilmington senior Christina Woods and freshman Carolyn Roney defeated Ayah Rahim & Valentina Gaete, 6-0, 6-1.
• Wilmington sophomore Jess D’Arco and junior Krista Brown defeated Elza Shakhverdova and Julia Greim, 6-3, 6-1.

NEXT UP: The WHS Girls Tennis Team (8-5) takes on Stoneham High on Monday, May 15 at 3:30pm at Wilmington High.
