WHS GIRLS TENNIS: Wildcats Drop 4 In-A-Row, Fall To .500

WILMINGTON, MA —The WHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team fell to Reading High, 5-0, at Wilmington High on Thursday, May 4:

  • Wilmington sophomore Emily Hill lost to Jacquelyn Iannuzzo, 6-0, 6-1.
  • Wilmington senior Sam Maragioglio lost to Ruthie Wilson, 6-3, 6-2.
  • Wilmington sophomore Lia Kourkoutas lost to Brenda Sullivan, 6-3, 6-3.
  • Wilmington senior Christina Woods and freshman Carolyn Roney lost to Ainsley Cohen and Mari Verrier, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.
  • Wilmington juniors Lauren Field and Christina Wright lost to Natalie MacDonald and Rachel MacDonald, 6-1, 6-0.

NEXT UP: The WHS Girls Tennis Team (5-5) takes on Melrose High on Monday, May 8 at 3:30pm in Melrose.
