5 Things You Need To Know In Wilmington Today (May 7, 2017)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things you need to know in Wilmington for Sunday, May 7, 2017.

#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington will see a slight chance of showers before 9am, then a slight chance of showers after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 63. Southwest wind 5 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

#3) The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is holding its monthly Open House from 2pm to 4pm. Learn more HERE.

The Museum currently features an exhibit featuring artifacts of households items used by Miss Sabra Carter and her family in the late nineteenth century. Items were generously donated to the Museum from the Glennon Archives of the Woburn Public Library.

The Museum’s popular “101 Years of High School in Wilmington” exhibit reopens today. The exhibit featuring photographs and memorabilia from the two eras of Wilmington High School can be seen in the Museum’s Carriage House.

#4) The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
