WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Little League held its Opening Day Parade and Ceremony on Saturday, April 15, 2017.
Little League President Rick Hill gave welcoming remarks, thanked this year’s team sponsors, and recognized past and present Board of Directors. State Rep. Jim Miceli, (at the time) Selectmen Chair Judy O’Connell, and Selectman Mike McCoy each spoke to the crowd. After the National Anthem, two Wilmington soldiers threw out the first pitch. The Wilmington Kiwanis Club provided hot dogs and drinks to the players and families.
