WILMINGTON, MA — On Saturday, the 4-H Science Pirates, a local STEM club, spent the day at the Ecotarium Museum of Science and Nature where, along with all the exhibits, they enjoyed a planetarium movie about asteroids.  This program was sponsored in part by a grant from the Wilmington Cultural Council, a local agency which is sponsored by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

4-H is a youth organization open to children between the ages of 5 and 18.  The Science Pirates is one of many clubs in the Middlesex county.  There are clubs for almost every interest; farm animals, creative writing, pets, forensics, gardening, science, arts & crafts, clothing & textiles, leadership, health & fitness, woodworking, and more.  For more information on 4-H or for a list of clubs in your area, please go to http://www.mass4h.org.
