WHS BASEBALL: “Red Dog” Tosses 4-Hitter As Wildcats Defeat Redmen

WILMINGTON, MA — The WHS Varsity Baseball team has started its season on a 3-game winning streak, after earning a 6-1 victory over Tewksbury High on Monday, April 17 at Livingston Street Park in Tewksbury.

Darin “Red Dog” MacEacheron notched his first varsity win, pitching a complete game 4-hitter on just 84 pitches. MacEacheron struck out 7, walked one, and gave up one run (unearned) over 7 efficient innings of work.

Dave Woods (2-for-4, 4 RBI) and Tom Worob (3-for-4, 2 runs, 1 stolen base) led the offense for the Wildcats.  Dan Gracia scored 3 runs, while Matt Rideout and Gavin Kelsey each contributed with a hit.

UP NEXT: The Wildcats (3-0) next play Belmont High on Wednesday, April 19 at 10am at Scanlon Field.
