WILMINGTON, MA — Joanne M. (Martignette) Benton, former Superintendent of Lexington and Wilmington Schools, of Winchester & Humarock, passed away on April 12, 2017.
Beloved wife of Theodore A. Benton. Beloved sister of Alfonse & his wife Jean Martignette of Acton & Carol Boswell of Woburn. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & good friends.
A funeral will be held from the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St. (Rte. 38) Winchester on Wednesday April 19th at 10 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Eulalia’s Church Winchester at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Interment Wildwood Cemetery Winchester.
