As our April 22nd election day draws near, I would like to urge Wilmington residents to cast one of their two votes for Jenn Bryson in the race for School Committee.
As a program director and field placement coordinator for elementary education, Jenn has the experience we need to select a capable and skilled, long term superintendent; provide valuable insight into student curriculum; ensure compliance with a myriad of special education laws; and support much needed professional development for our teachers and administrators. As an involved and concerned parent, she fully appreciates the challenges that lie ahead for this District.
Having talked to Jenn Bryson at length about her experience, ideas and concerns, I believe that she is the type of person that will set the same high standards for others as she has set for herself. While she will be the first to recognize a job well done, she also will hold people accountable for their performance. She will not hesitate to acknowledge what needs improvement, and she has the real life educational experience to fix the problem.
Please join me in supporting Jenn Bryson for School Committee.
