WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things you need to know in Wilmington for Sunday, April 9, 2017.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be sunny in Wilmington, with a high near 61. West wind 5 to 7 mph.
#2) The Wilmington Youth Hockey Coaches vs. Boston Bruins Alumni Charity Game takes place at 3pm at the Chelmsford Forum (2 Brick Klin Road, North Billerica). Tickets cost $10 each and will be sold at the door. 25% of the net proceeds will go to the United Heroes League which actively works to ensure that children of military members are afforded every opportunity to participate in sports. #3) The Wilmington Sons of Italy is holding its annual Easter Bunny Breakfast at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue). Two seatings are available – 8:30am to 10am and 10:30am to noon. Tickets are SOLD OUT. All proceeds will benefit the Wilmington Sons of Italy Charities.
#4) Wilmington Youth Soccer is hosting its 7th Annual Girls Night Out from 5pm to 7pm in the Wilmington High School Gymnasium. Girls of all ages are invited to a fun filled, soccer-themed event! Soccer players will play with and talk to a Boston Breakers player and engage in soccer skills challenges. The event will include prizes, giveaways, and autographs. Registration is limited.
