WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things you need to know in Wilmington for Thursday, April 6, 2017.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington is under a flood watch from 8am today until 8pm tomorrow night. Wilmington will see rain today, with thunderstorms also possible after 4pm. Patchy fog before 9am, then patchy fog after 10am. High near 47. East wind 5 to 8 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
#2) The Town of Wilmington is holding its Annual Employee Health & Benefits Fair from 1pm to 4pm at the Wilmington Town Hall.
#3) The Wilmington SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council) meets at 6:30pm in the Wilmington High School Library. Read the agenda HERE.
#4) The WHS Boys Varsity Lacrosse team game hosts Woburn at Wilmington High at 4pm.
#5) Pianist Ricky Lauria is performing at Tremezzo (2 Lowell Street) at 8pm.
#6) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding TWO programs today:
- LEGO Building (3:45pm-4:45pm)
- Wildflowers of New England (7pm)
