POLICE LOG for March 8: Racoon In Dumpster; Water Main Break; Mailbox Damaged

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, March 8, 2017:

• Police notified the Water Department of a water main break in the woods on Shawsheen Avenue. (7:16am)
• A South Street resident’s mailbox was damaged sometime overnight. (7:43am)
• Animal Control Officer assisted in removing racoon from dumpster at Glen Falls Cement on Eames Street. (9:01am)
• Police installed 3 safety seats during its weekly drop-in session. (10:19am)
• Police received a report of a hit & run, involving property damage, at Wilmington High School that took place on March 3. (11:59am)
• Police officer served as traffic control for sporting event at Wilmington High School. (8:04pm)
