WILMINGTON, MA — Margaret G. Lee (Hamilton), “Peggy”, age 97, a long-time resident of Wilmington, formerly of Pepperell, died peacefully with her family at her side on March 8, 2017.
Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick” Lee, devoted mother of Robert E. Lee & wife Peggy of Andover, Donna M. Britt & husband Howard of Wilmington, Richard T. Lee & wife Nancy of West Townsend, Janice A. Murray & husband Jim of Wilmington and John F. Lee & wife Marie of Intervale, NH. Loving “Nana” of Gregory & Ann Marie Lee, Christopher & Carrie Lee, Mark & Kerry Lee, James Britt, Sharon & Scott Vienneau, the late Scott Britt, Karen & Jason Peroni, Kristin Lee, David Lee, Lauree & Brandon Scott, James Murray, Steven & Laura Murray, David & Martha Murray, Jill Murray & Quinel Eutsay, Daphne & Jason Lassard, Kelly & David Byron and “Great-Nana” of 29 great-grandchildren. Cherished daughter of the late Charles H. and Catherine (Maguire) Hamilton, dear sister of the late Katherine MacMillan, Elizabeth Copp and John Hamilton. Margaret is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Saturday, March 11th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Dorothy’s Church, Main St. (Rte. 38), Wilmington at 10:00 a.m. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting Hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, March 10th from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
Memorial donations in Margaret’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Boys Town, 14100 Crawford St., Boys Town, NE 68010.
