WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things you need to know in Wilmington for Sunday, March 5, 2017.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be sunny in Wilmington, with a high near 29. Wind chill values as low as -10. Northwest wind 13 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
#2) Wilmington High School is holding the 2017 MSSAA Winter Cheerleading North Regional Championship. Doors open at 9am. Admission costs $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. Wilmington will likely perform around 10:30am. Learn more HERE.
#3) Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) is hosting gun show featuring 500 tables, on Saturday, March 4, 9am-5pm, and Sunday, March 5, 9am-3pm. Participants can buy, sell and trade sports, antique, and collectible firearms; custom and high quality knives; and various militaria. #4) The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is holding its Monthly Open House from 2pm to 4pm. Come get a free tour of the historic Harnden Tavern.
#5) The Middlesex Canal Association invites Wilmington residents to its Winter Meeting on Sunday, March 5 at 1pm at the Middlesex Canal Museum (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica). The meeting will feature a presentation entitled “Brick Making Along The Merrimack River” from historian Charles Mower. Free and open to all. Learn more HERE.
