New Pizza Place To Open In Wilmington After Brothers Pizza Changes Ownership

WILMINGTON, MA — At its meeting on Monday night, the Wilmington Board of Selectmen issued a common victualer license to Jorgo Anastasi, owner of Nick’s Pizza, Roast Beef and Subs.

Anastasi recently purchased Brothers Roast Beef & Pizza, located at 331 Main Street, in the small plaza that also houses China Wok and Sunrise Market.

Anastasi is no stranger to the restaurant business.  He previously owned the Nick’s Pizza, Roast Beef and Subs location in Peabody.  Anastasi’s relatives own locations in Beverly, Lynn and Wakefield.

He’s happy to be making Wilmington home to the newest “Nick’s Pizza, Roast Beef and Subs” location.

The restaurant’s website, currently under construction, can be found HERE.  It notes the restaurant will be open daily from 11am to 9pm.  Delivery will be available for orders of at least $10, with a $1 delivery fee.

In response to a question from Selectman Mike Champoux inquiring about what changers customers can expect, Anastasi said that the menu will be staying the same.  In fact, the new owners have already been assuring customers that virtually nothing will be change, expect for the name.

After receiving favorable recommendations from the town’s Health Director Shelly Newhouse and Building Inspector Al Spaulding, Selectmen unanimously supported Anastasi’s application.  Selectmen wished him and his family luck.
