5 Things You Need To Know In Wilmington Today (February 26, 2017)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things you need to know in Wilmington for Sunday, February 26, 2017.

#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be mostly sunny in Wilmington, with a high near 45. Breezy, with a west wind 14 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

#2) The Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge #2070 invites the public to a fundraising breakfast from 8am to 11am at the Elks Lodge (777 South Street, Tewksbury). Tickets, available at the door, cost $7 for adults and $5 for children (12 and under). The event’s proceeds will benefit the Bedford Green Homeless Veterans Residence at the Bedford V.A. Hospital. #3) The Junior Chapter of WOW (We’re One Wilmington) is meeting from 11am to noon at Villanova Hall.

#5) The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.  The Canal Association’s Winter Annual Meeting, originally scheduled for today, has been POSTPONED.
