Middlesex DA: Wilmington Man Indicted For Attempted Murder

WOBURN, MA — On Tuesday, the Middlesex District Attorney announced the following indictments that were handed down between December 13, 2016 and January 27, 2017:

Wilmington Indictments 

Michael Lena, 44, of Wilmington, was charged with attempted murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery causing serious bodily injury (2 counts), assault and battery on a household or family member (2 counts), strangulation or suffocation (2 counts), stalking, and witness intimidation. The Assistant District Attorney is Suzanne Kontz.

Non-Wilmington Indictments

Arlington

Frederick Gardner, 45, of Atlanta, Georgia, was charged with larceny over $250 from a person over the age of 60 and receiving stolen property over $250. The Assistant District Attorney is Doug Nagengast.

Wilfredo Torres, 50, of Arlington, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and being a habitual criminal, possession of a Class B substance, possession of ammunition. The Assistant District Attorney is Radu Brestyan

Ayer

James Frasher, 57, of Ayer, was charged assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over the age of 60 (2 counts), assault and battery on a person over the age of 60, assault and battery on a household or family member, stalking, reckless endangerment of a child, and threatening to commit a crime. The Assistant District Attorney is Elizabeth Barnes.

Cambridge

Robert McCarty, 40, of Boston, was charged was charged with breaking and entering a building in the nighttime to commit a felony and being a habitual criminal, and possession of burglarious tools. The Assistant District Attorney is Radu Brestyan.

Henry Park, 63, of Somerville, was charged with leaving the scene after causing death. The Assistant District Attorney is Radu Brestyan.

Luis Urbaez, 31, of Cambridge, was charged with possession of ammunition without a license and being an armed career criminal. The Assistant District Attorney is Kate Kleimola.

Chelmsford

Michael Clark,28, of Tyngsborough, was charged with assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, larceny of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle to endanger, assault and battery on a police officer, receiving stolen property over $250, and larceny under $250. The Assistant District Attorney is Lisa Fuccione.

Gilvania Steinbrecher, 44, of Chelmsford, was charged with aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and reckless endangerment of a child. The Assistant District Attorney is Rachel Perlman.

Kenneth Steinbrecher, 39, of Chelmsford, was charged with aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and reckless endangerment of a child. The Assistant District Attorney is Rachel Perlman.

Everett

Fatuma Abu, 53, of Everett, was charged with witness intimidation. The Assistant District Attorney is Allison Brown.

Stephen Callinan, 50, of Somerville, was charged with larceny over $250 from a person over the age of 60 and being a habitual criminal. The Assistant District Attorney is Heidi Gosule.

Jorge Delgado-Medina, 20, of Everett, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed robbery. The Assistant District Attorney is Julie Kunkel.

Jason Farrell, 43, of Cambridge, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery, and assault and battery. The Assistant District Attorney is Jessica Noble.

Clifton Gumbs, 26, of Everett, was charged with murder, armed robbery, armed carjacking, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, possession of a firearm without a license, and possession of a loaded firearm. The Assistant District Attorney is Jessica Noble.

Keith Herring, 27, of Boston, was charged with murder, armed robbery, armed carjacking, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, possession of a firearm without a license, and possession of a loaded firearm. The Assistant District Attorney is Jessica Noble.

Telecia Jean-Simone, 19, of Everett, was charged with accessory after the fact to murder and witness intimidation. The Assistant District Attorney is Jessica Noble.

Rigoberto Landaverde-Lemus, 22, of Everett, was charged with murder. The Assistant District Attorneys are Elizabeth Dunigan and Carrie Spiros.

Mohamed Mohamed, 28, of Everett, was charged with aggravated rape of a child, forcible rape of a child, and indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14 (2 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Allison Brown.

Holliston

Darryl Williams, 55, of Framingham, was charged with trafficking over 18 grams of cocaine. The Assistant District Attorney is Terence Kiernan.

Hudson

David Rooney, 58, of Hudson, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, kidnapping, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over the age of 60 (2 counts), assault and battery on a person over the age of 60 causing serious bodily injury, assault and battery on a person over the age of 60, and permitting bodily injury by a caretaker. The Assistant District Attorney is Heidi Gosule.

Ryan Seagesser, 32, of Hudson, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender, subsequent offense. The Assistant District Attorney is Terence Kiernan.

Becky Wilson, 55, of Fort Meyers, Florida, was charged with larceny over $250 (5 counts), forgery, and false entry into corporate books. The Assistant District Attorneys are Doug Cannon and Cyrus Chung.

Lowell

Shemar Andujar, 22, of Lynn, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon (3 counts), and armed assault with intent to rob. The Assistant District Attorney is Clarence Brown.

Jovi Chitpaseuth, 29, of Lowell, was charged with assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery, possession of a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition, and improper storage of a firearm. The Assistant District Attorney is Lisa Fuccione.

Frederic Diaz, 31, of Lowell, was charged with trafficking over 200 grams of heroin, trafficking over 100 grams of cocaine, and violating the drug laws near a school/park (2 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Raquel Frisardi.

Daniel Didier, 36, of Nashua, New Hampshire, was charged with larceny over $250 and uttering a fraudulent check. The Assistant District Attorney is Kristen Noto.

Leonardo Leger, 26, of Lowell, was charged with trafficking over 200 grams of heroin, trafficking over 100 grams of cocaine, and violating the drug laws near a school/park (2 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Raquel Frisardi.

Anthony Mansolilli, 30, of Lowell, was charged with assault and battery on a child under the age of 14 causing serious bodily injury. The Assistant District Attorney is Allison Brown.

Jason Morall, 32, was charged with stalking, assault and battery on a household or family member (8 counts), and witness intimidation (2 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Emily Jackson.

Val Salas, 26, of Lowell, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (2 counts), subsequent offense (2 counts), possession of a firearm without a license, and possession of ammunition. The Assistant District Attorney is Kate Hartigan.

Manuel Soto, 19, of Lowell, was charged with armed assault with intent to rob, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon (3 counts), possession of a large capacity firearm, and possession of ammunition. The Assistant District Attorney is Clarence Brown.

Craig West, 30, was charged with strangulation, assault and battery causing serious injury, stalking, mayhem, and witness intimidation. The Assistant District Attorney is Emily Jackson.

Malden

Matthew Guy, 25, of Danvers, was charged with unarmed robbery, larceny by false pretense, and impersonating a police officer. The Assistant District Attorney is Jessica Noble.

Aiman Kilaouy, 27, of Revere, was charged with unarmed robbery on a person over the age of 60. The Assistant District Attorney is Elizabeth Barnes.

Medford

Susan Whalen, 42, was charged with kidnapping and armed robbery. The Assistant District Attorney is Heidi Gosule.

Newton

Luco Tomar, 32, of Boston, was charged with open and gross lewdness, subsequent offense. The Assistant District Attorney is Suzanne Kontz.

North Reading

John Almeida, 30, of North Reading, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over the age of 60 (3 counts), assault with a dangerous weapon (4 counts), assault and battery on a person over the age of 60 (2 counts), and threatening to commit a crime. The Assistant District Attorney is Julie Kunkel.

Reading

Joseph King, 24, of Nashua, New Hampshire, was charged with unarmed robbery. The Assistant District Attorney is Jessica Noble.

Tewksbury

Troy Crossley, 24, of Chelsea, was charged with rape (2 counts) and assault and battery (2 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Lisa Fuccione.

Joshua Jefferson, 32, of Billerica, was charged with trafficking fentanyl, assault with a dangerous weapon, possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, subsequent offense, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a loaded firearm, resisting arrest, and possession of a firearm without a license. The Assistant District Attorney is Kate Hartigan.

Wakefield

Duane Collins, 57, of Lynn, was charged with trafficking over 36 grams of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, subsequent offense, and distribution of a Class B substance, subsequent offense. The Assistant District Attorney is Julie Kunkel.

Waltham

Paul Chartier, 41, of Waltham, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, subsequent offense, assault with a dangerous weapon, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of property damage. The Assistant District Attorney is John Dawley.

Kevin Gaudet,46, of Waltham, was charged with trafficking over 18 grams of cocaine. The Assistant District Attorney is Nils Lundblad.

Thomas Vasile, 29, of Waltham, was charged with breaking and entering in the daytime by putting a person in fear, strangulation, assault and battery on a person over the age of 60, assault and battery on a disabled person, witness intimidation, and malicious destruction of property over $250. The Assistant District Attorney is Whitney Williams.

 

Woburn

Antoine Harris, 43, of Wareham, was charged with human trafficking, procuring a person to enter prostitution, and being a habitual criminal. The Assistant District Attorney is Jessica Noble.

Richard Vargas, 49, of Woburn, was charged with stalking. The Assistant District Attorney is Heidi Gosule.

Defendants are listed by towns where alleged offenses occurred. Defendants without a hometown listed do not have a last known address. These charges are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
