WILMINGTON, MA — Marsha Pitzi, of Wilmington, formerly of Revere, passed away on January 25, 2017. Beloved wife of John Pitzi Sr. Devoted mother of John Pitzi Jr and wife Karen of Conway, and Jeff Pitzi and wife Dedi of Wilmington. Dear sister of John Viola and wife Dee Dee of Norton. Cherished grandmother of Samantha, Tristan, and Alexandra. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marsha was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In her early years Marsha was a hairstylist and florist and took her talents to teach a variety of classes at local schools. Marsha and John married November 19, 1967. During their 49 years together they enjoyed traveling on a variety cruises and twice to Italy. Marsha was very proud of her Italian heritage and loved to cook Italian dinners for her family, especially during the holidays.
Marsha cherished her sons and daughter-in-laws yet her deepest love was of her grandchildren. Marsha was often seen cheering them whether a sporting event or a theatrical performance. She was always their biggest fan and had a beautiful way of showing them how much they were loved. Second to that, was her love of animals with her most recent pet Wilbur.
Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Monday January 30, 2017at 10:00am. Funeral mass in St Anthony’s Church at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00pm to6:00pm. Private interment. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the MSPCA Angel, 350 S. Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130.
