LOWELL, MA — Ronald Marcotti, 68, passed away on November 26, 2016.
Loving father of Sheri Marcotti, Jason Marcotti, and Steven Marcotti. Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Ashley, Sophia, and Joshua Marcotti. Dear brother of Chester and his wife Toni Marcotti, Michael and his wife Wendy Marcotti, and Thomas and his wife Helen Marcotti; many nieces, nephews, and cousins including Mike Marcotti, Angel Marcotti Czeremin and her daughter Kari, Patrick, Nicholas and Cara Marcotti, and Tina Pulli.
Ronald was born in Medford, a son of the late Chester Jr. and Catherine “Kay” (Morrissey) Marcotti. He was raised in Medford and educated at St. Joseph’s Elementary School. He graduated high school in Anaheim, CA before moving back to Wakefield. He was a graduate of Fitchburg State with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Over his career, Ronald was employed at Wang, Raytheon, and most recently at L3 Communications in Wilmington. Ronald was a talented musician, artist, and craftsman as well as an outdoorsman. His family was always his greatest joy.
Calling hours at the Fay McCabe Funeral Home, 105 Moore Street, Lowell on Monday from 4 until 8 PM. Funeral Tuesday morning at 10 AM at The Immaculate Conception Church, 144 East Merrimack St., Lowell.
