WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 5 things you need to know in Wilmington for Sunday, December 4, 2016.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be sunny in Wilmington, with a high near 39. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
#2) We’re One Wilmington (WOW) is wrapping up its 6th Annual Festival of Trees from 9am to 3pm at Villanova Hall (126 Middlesex Avenue). This free family-friendly event will feature a raffle of spectacular holiday trees, wreaths and baskets. There will also be baked goods, popcorn and refreshments for sale, as well as musical performances, a scavenger hunt (with prizes awarded throughout the weekend) and a special visit by Mrs. Claus. #3) The New England Brass Band is holding a Christmas concert on Sunday, December 4 at 3pm at the Wilmington Congregational Church (220 Middlesex Avenue). Enjoy a wonderful afternoon of Christmas music for the entire family. Admission is a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students, with a maximum of $30 per family.
#4) Wilmington’s Harnden Tavern (430 Salem Street) will hold its Annual Holiday Social from 1pm to 4pm. This old-fashioned holiday celebration features fun for the entire family, including: Children’s holiday craft room; Seasonal music; Holiday decorations; and Refreshments. A donation of $5 per person, or $15 per family, is suggested.
#5) Boston Auctions (355 Middlesex Avenue) is holding its weekly Indoor Flea Market from 8am to 4pm. Learn more HERE.
