WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 8 things you need to know in Wilmington for Sunday, October 16, 2016.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be mostly sunny in Wilmington, with a high near 70 and a calm wind.
#2) We’re One Wilmington will hold its first junior WOW meeting for Grades 3-5 from 11am to noon at Villanova Hall. Any students interested in participating should contact Jomarie O’Mahony with name and age at firstname.lastname@example.org. WOW will also be meeting with Middle School students after school from 2pm to 3pm this coming Thursday.
#3) We’re One Wilmington will be selling Halloween costumes from 9am to noon at Villanova Hall. A suggested donation is $5 per costume, but any donation is appreciate. Costume donations may also be dropped off during the sale.
#4) The Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street) is holding a pumpkin patch on its front lawn beginning TODAY until Monday, October 31. Pumpkins are on sale (while supplies last) daily from 11am to 7pm. All proceeds support the church’s Youth Mission Programs.

#7) The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal’s history and its impact on the area, including Wilmington.
