PHOTO: Wilmington Girl Raises $350 From Lemonade Stand For Angel Fund

WILMINGTON, MA — On August 27, the Wilmington Rotary hosted a community Ice Bucket Challenge to raise awareness and funds for the Angel Fund to cure ALS.

Rotary Club member Steve Bjork’ daughter Cheyenne, on her own, decided that she wanted to contribute.  On Sunday, September 11, she opened up a lemonade stand, and donated the $356.15 she raised to the club to pass along to the Angel Fund.

The Rotary Club does a lot for the community, but it is collectively humbled by Cheyenne’s initiative, generosity, and thoughtfulness.  Keep up the great work, Cheyenne!
