VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: WCTV Looking For Volunteers To Cover Upcoming Community Events

WILMINGTON, MA —Wilmington Community Television is looking for volunteers to cover some of upcoming events happening around town:

September 24th – Starts at 9AM
Town Shredding Day @ Town Common Parking Lot
The library, in partnership with the Wilmington Community Fund, will host the sixth annual on-site shredding day. Two shredding trucks will be on hand to handle the volume. This event is meant for households. We reserve the right to limit the amount of shredding due to wait time or truck space, if needed. Paper clips, rubber bands, and staples do not have to be removed. The shredding is free to the public, but donations to the food pantry are encouraged and welcomed.

September 24th – Starts at 8am
Town Clean Up Day
Since stuff is going on all over town that day, if you’re interested in recording any of the clean up please contact us and we will see what locations are being cleaned up and assign you a couple locations. More information HERE.

September 25th – 10am
Wilmington Chamber’s Annual Half Marathon 5k @ WCTV
More info can be found HERE.

October 5th – 6pm
Candlelight Vigil for those lost to Addiction @ Town Common
Information on the event can be found HERE.

If any of these interest you, please contact WCTV HERE to become a member FOR FREE, receive some basic training, and borrow equipment from the station.
