WILMINGTON, MA – Earlier this week, we commemorated the anniversary of 9-11, that horrific date in United States history when the World Trade Towers in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, DC, were attacked. Nearly 3,000 individuals lost their lives and today thousands more continue to be affected by these attacks.
In the years that have followed, we’ve witnessed, as a global society, countless more senseless attacks. From elementary schools and high schools to night clubs, from malls and even to houses of worship – the violence knows no boundaries.
Join us on Sunday, September 18 at 5:45 PM at St. Thomas Church for a Prayer Vigil for Peace. Join us for a time of reflection, prayer, music and unity. Join us to pray for our families, neighbors, friends, and all people throughout the world. Join us – ALL ARE WELCOME!
(NOTE: The above announcement is from the St. Thomas/St. Dorothy’s Facebook page.)
