WILMINGTON, MA – The Wilmington Middle School Art Club is a club that allows students to focus on creating their own artwork in a supportive and creative environment. This also includes the freedom to explore different art materials that are provided in the art classroom at Wilmington Middle School.
The Club’s primary goal this year is to give students a chance to work beside other students interested in art and be provided feedback from their peers and teachers. In the Art Club, members may also be involved in working on community school projects and art competitions.
The Art Club does not require members to attend all meetings, but would encourage members to come create when time is given. Members are required to bring their positive attitude and to abide by all of the art classroom rules and Wilmington Middle school rules. Failure to respect and follow these rules might result in termination from the Art Club.
Some members will be selected to work on murals throughout the building. This is a special role for selected students.
Art Club will be held on most Mondays after school in Room 347 beginning Monday, September 26. Sign up online HERE. Students will need to use their school Google account to sign up.
Due to space and materials, the Art Club is limited to 24 members; however, as spots open, there will be a waiting list for interested students. The Club’s adviser is Neal Roberts.
