WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington High School Varsity Girls Soccer Team (1-0) opened its season with a 3-2 victory against Woburn at Woburn High on Thursday, September 8.
Wilmington’s goals were scored by senior Stephanie Figueiredo, senior Heather Niemiec and junior Olivia Wingate.
Senior Kayla McCauley, freshman Jessie McCullough, and Wingate all recorded assists.
Goalkeeper Jill Roche got the job done in net with 9 saves.
