5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (August 3, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.

#1) The Wilmington Conservation Commission meets at 7pm at Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE. In addition to various public hearings, the Commission will discuss the Town’s Facility Master Plan process, vote for a new Chair & Vice Chair, and receive an update from the Conservation Agent regarding Town Clean-Up Day on September 24.

#2) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding FOUR programs — Read To Zoey (11am-noon); Device Drop-In (2pm-3pm); “On Your Mark, Get Set, Go: Read, Move, Laugh & Play” mime show (6:30pm-7:30pm); and Device Demo: Apple TV (7pm-8pm). Learn more and register HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its normal Wednesday activities — SBF Exercise (9:45am); Special Exercise (11am); and Country Line Dancing (1pm).

#4) The Wilmington Police Department offers safety seat installs at the Wilmington Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) every Wednesday, 10am-2pm. No appointment is necessary, but calling ahead at 978-658-5071 is recommended. Learn more HERE.

#5) The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less!  Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
