WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, July 10, 2016:
- A Park Street caller reported items were stolen from her yard overnight. Resident called back to report her neighbor had borrowed the items and no theft occurred. (10:12am)
- Fire Department responded to a dryer fire on Pinewood Road. (10:37am)
- A Hobson Avenue caller reported two men were knocking on doors, asking to see electric bills. Police responded, spoke with the men and sent them on their way. (12:41pm)
- Lifeguards closed Town Beach due to inclement weather. (3:10pm)
- Caller reported two 13-year-old girls were approached by two male parties at the Wilmington Plaza. Parties followed them in and out of stores. Girls left on foot. Caller was unsure where male parties went. Police followed up with caller. (3:32pm)
- Father Early reported a group of people were walking around St. Thomas with their phones out. Police responded. Situated checked OK. Individuals were playing Pokemon Go. (9:10pm)
