WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Police Department recently shared two volunteer opportunities for residents.
National Night Out
The Wilmington Police Department is looking for high school-aged Wilmington residents to assist as volunteers at its National Night Out event on Saturday, August 2 at 6pm at Rotary Park. The event is expected to include a touch-a-truck exhibit, K9 demonstration, dunk tank and screening of “Zootopia,” while providing crime prevention information to children and families. Wilmington Town Dog Park
The Wilmington Animal Control Officer is looking for residents to join a “Friends of” group that will assist in supporting the upkeep and operation of Wilmington’s new dog park. Interested residents should email Officer Christopher Sullivan at csullivan@wpd.org.
