WILMINGTON GIVES: Wilmington Youth Lacrosse Seeks Volunteers

WILMINGTON, MA — Did you know that Wilmington Youth Lacrosse Association is run strictly on volunteers?  Did you ever think to yourself “things could be better if we did it like THIS or THAT” or “I have an idea that could help”?

WYLA invites you to come learn more about the WYLA Board of Directors at its open public meeting on Monday, June 20th at 7pm at the Wilmington Memorial Library.  The Association has many opportunities for volunteers to help with the Wilmington Youth Lacrosse Program for the 2016-2017 season.

What is your commitment?  Meetings every other month as well as some additional initiatives to help lead or assist with while our season is in full swing (March-June).

Currently the Executive Board has openings for:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary

The Association is also seeking volunteers to help out with Facilities, Fundraising, Boys and Girls programs, and Scheduling.  These are just some of the examples of where your help is needed!

If you are interested in any of the Executive Board Positions, please contact Jenn Martins at jmartins1@comcast.net PRIOR to the June 20th meeting.  If you are interested in volunteering your time to help the program continue to grow, please attend the meeting on the 20th in the Wilmington Library’s upstairs Conference Room.
