WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Sunday, June 12, 2016.
#1) The Wilmington Farmers Market’s 6th season begins today! The Market is open every Sunday, from June 12 to October 9 (minus July 3), from 10am to 1pm, across from the Town Common. Read this week’s lineup HERE.
#2) The Wilmington Touchdown Club is holding a Car Wash Fundraiser from 9am to noon in the Wilmington Fourth of July Building’s parking lot (142 Middlesex Avenue). Wilmington High School football players will be washing the vehicles. All donations will benefit the WHS football program.
#3) Wilmington Boy Scout Troop 126 invites the public to its Flag Day Waffle Breakfast fundraiser on Sunday, June 12, from 8:30am to 11am, at Villanova Hall (125 Middlesex Avenue). Tickets will be available at the door for $9. All proceeds will benefit the Troop.
#4) TJ Callahan’s Pub (1475 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA) will be holding a fundraiser for Brodie Rawson, a Wilmingotn 8 year-old battling cancer, today. A motorcycle ride will begin (11am) and end (2pm) in the TJ Callahan’s parking lot. Non-riders can drop in around 2pm for food, fun, raffles and a DJ! PLUS: The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal’s history and its impact on the area, including Wilmington.
