POLICE LOG for June 4: A Really, Really Dumb Call; Party Complaints

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, June 4, 2016:

  • An anonymous caller reported a loud party in the back yard of a Broad Street home. Police responded and restored the peace. (2:56am)
  • A Dartmouth Avenue resident reported at some time during the night, his home’s security cameras were torn off. Police responded and confirmed the damage. Cameras were inoperable and footage could not be viewed. (7:36am)
  • A Burlington Avenue resident reported a bird got its foot stuck in a patio chair.  Police responded and was able to free the bird. (12:33pm)
  • A caller reported an animal unresponsive in a vehicle in the Savers parking lot. Police responded. The “animal” was actually a stuffed animal. (3:19pm)
  • Fox Maxwell (19, Winchester) was issued a summons for leaving the scene of property damage. Maxwell allegedly struck a parked vehicle on Lords Court and drove off. (6:48pm)
  • Police received report of a loud party on Wicks Circle. Police responded. Adults were taking party inside upon arrival. (10:35pm)
  • Police received report of a loud party on Revere Avenue. Police responded. Party was moved indoors. (11:06pm)
