10 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (June 11, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things to do today in Wilmington on Saturday, June 11, 2016.

#1)  The Wilmington Memorial Library has organized the second annual Town Wide Yard Sale from 8am to 2pm.  See the map with approximately 75 yard sale locations around town HERE!

#2) Wilmington Firefighters Local 1370 is running a “Brave A Shave For Kids With Cancer” event from 1pm to 5pm at Red Heat Tavern (300 Lowell Street).  Can’t make it?  Click HERE to donate to the event, which benefits the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a charity which funds research to find cures to childhood cancers.

#3) A Spring Craft & Vendor Fair will take place from 11am to 3pm at the Friendship Masonic Lodge (32 Church Street).  View the vendor and crafter lineup HERE.

#4) Classical Pilates at Wilmington Dance Academy (335 Main Street) is holding a pilates class benefit at 9:30am.  Proceeds from this special “Pilates For Mental Health” class will benefit the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester.  A $10 donation is suggested  Learn more HERE.

#5)  JJArtworks Studio (122 Western Avenue, Studio A311, Lowell) is holding a Paint Night fundraiser from 6pm to 8pm to benefit Wilmington Relay For Life.  Learn more HERE.

#6) A couple of Wilmington Relay For Life teams will be canning at the Dunkin Donuts near Rocco’s and the Dunkin Donuts near the Wilmington House of Pizza from 7am to 11am.

#7) Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) is hosting Karaoke from Winnell Entertainment at 8pm.

#8) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding TWO programs — Baby Times (9:30am-10:15am) and Dads & Donuts (10:30am-11:30am). Learn more HERE.

#9) The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less!  Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.

#10) The Wilmington Food Pantry (142 Chestnut Street) is open from 10am to noon for food donation drop-offs. Learn which food items the Pantry is most in need of HERE.
