ANDOVER, MA — Simpson, Margaret Mary (Brown) — of Andover, formerly Wilmington, passed away on June 6, 2016 at the age of 95.
Wife of the late William Thomas Simpson; daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Veronica Brown; loving mother of Carole Anne Crowley and her husband Jerome “Jerry” of Arlington, Donna Marie Haley, and Patricia Jean Simpson all of Andover; beloved grandmother of Leeanne Crowley of Salem, MA, Heather Crowley-Biscan and her husband Alan, and John Crowley all of Arlington, Lisa Foley and her husband James of Middleton, William Haley and his wife Stacy of Methuen, Christopher Haley of Andover, Kara Forsythe and her husband Daryl of Manchester, NH, Marissa Trudeau and her husband Jarod of Lyman, ME, Allison Lynch and her partner Fernando Ventura of Andover; adoring great grandmother of Brendan, Grace, Sean, Grace, Liam, Caitlyn, Ryan, Molly, Devin, Micah, Calley, Madison, and Armani; sister of the late Stanley, Marie, Paul, and Robert Brown, and Shirley May Rindoni; mother-in-law of the late David Haley; sister-in-law of John R. Simpson of MD and his late wife Geraldine, the late Samuel and Dorothy Simpson, formerly of Medford.
Former Telephone Operator for Tufts University.
Relatives and friends will be received Friday, June 10, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, ph (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 198 Haggetts Pond Rd., W. Andover. Burial will be in Wildwood cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Parmenter Home Care and Hospice, 266 Cochituate Rd., Wayland, MA 01778 will be appreciated.
