#1) The Wilmington Memorial Day Weekend ceremonies begin with the decoration of the Veterans’ Graves at the Wildwood Cemetery starting at 8am and the decoration of all squares and memorials around town starting at 10:15am. Learn more HERE.
#2) The Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Burlington (98 Middlesex Turnpike) is donating a percentage of all in-store sales over Memorial Day Weekend — Saturday, May 28 thru Monday, May 30 — to the Wilmington-based iPods for Wounded Veterans. No flyer is required with the purchase. Learn more HERE.
#3) Join the “We Believe in Miracles” Wilmington Relay For Life team for a Paint Night with painting instructor Lynn Ricci from 7pm to 9pm at Tremezzo (2 Lowell Street). Participants can paint TWO wine glasses or mugs while raising money for Wilmington’s Relay For Life. Samples will be available to get your creative ideas flowing, but your own design concepts are welcome. Registration costs $35. #5) The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less! Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
